7000 Year Old Series

Forged from timelines older than civilization itself.

The Thousand Years Wood Series is crafted using ancient Danish bog oak, carbon-dated to 7427 years old. This wood began its life long before the pyramids, before bronze, before written language existed. Buried and preserved by nature for over seven millennia, it now returns to human hands as one of the rarest materials ever used in modern knife making.

Each piece of ancient oak carries the imprint of geological time: deep black oxidation, mineral streaks, fractures and textures formed through thousands of winters. No two pieces ever look the same — each handle is a singular artifact, shaped by age rather than design.

To honor a material this old, the steel must be its equal in respect.
For this series, we pair the 7427-year-old Scandinavian wood with high-performance Japanese steel — chosen for its clarity, edge retention, and disciplined geometry. The contrast between ancient Nordic wood and modern Japanese metallurgy creates a knife that bridges eras, cultures, and craftsmanship traditions.
