Prices are shown in your local currency. Before you pay, checkout shows the total, including the shipping cost and any VAT we charge. After you order, you receive an order confirmation by email.

The payment methods available for your country are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment providers over an encrypted connection.

Shipping costs depend on the destination and are shown at checkout. When your order ships, you receive a tracking number. Delivery times are estimates; carriers and customs can cause delays.

The goods are at our risk until you, or someone you have named, receive them.

You can return any item within 100 days of receiving it, for any reason. This includes your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law. To use it, tell us clearly by email or through our contact page; you may use the standard withdrawal form, but you do not have to. You pay the return postage if you change your mind; we pay it if the item is faulty. The full process is in our returns and refunds policy.

In the EU you can complain about a fault for two years from delivery; elsewhere, your local law applies. Tell us within a reasonable time after you discover the fault; within two months is always in time. Depending on the fault, we repair or replace the item, reduce the price or refund you, as the law provides.

Many of our knives are made in small batches. If an identical replacement is not available, we offer a repair, an alternative product or a refund.

Normal wear, misuse and damage from not following the care advice are not faults. Carbon steel can rust if it is left wet; see knife care.

For deliveries outside the EU, import duties, taxes and fees set by the destination country may apply. They are usually collected by the carrier on delivery and are paid by you. If you refuse a delivery because of unpaid duties, you pay the extra shipping costs this causes.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

We use your details to process and deliver your order. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

If something is not right, please contact us first; we want to solve it with you. If we cannot agree, you can complain to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Nævnenes Hus), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, at naevneneshus.dk. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help; in Denmark this is Forbruger Europa.

These terms are governed by Danish law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
